The road to finding your passion and planting your own seeds to blossom into this lifestyle is never easy. Perseverance mixed with strong compassion has helped me obtain this forever-planned goal.
My dreams and vision began in the Midwest where I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A competitive environment and mindset was established very early on and during my senior year of high school I was recruited by the University of Alabama. They offered me a scholarship to run track and field so I traveled south to begin my college career and I opened a new chapter of my life. ROLL TIDE!
During my four-year tenure at the university I competed in the pole vault and was provided an amazing opportunity to travel and compete all over the United States. After visiting many cities and competing in numerous track meets, I’m honored to have become a four-year letterman and two-time scorer at the SEC Championships for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
In 2008, my track career came to an end and I graduated from the University of Alabama’s school of business with a B.S. degree in finance with a focus on real estate and I received my minor in economics. The warm weather I experienced while attending Alabama ultimately helped me decide my relocation path. I packed up my Jeep with whatever belongings fit, borrowed a few bucks from family and friends, and headed to Miami with no job. My will to survive and my refusal to give up ultimately lead to my current career.
After countless opportunities slipped through my hands due to my so-called lack of “work experience” fresh out of college, I unwillingly took a job in phone sales. From the beginning I knew this position wasn’t what I went to school for and after a short tenure I transitioned into becoming an assistant in the real estate market. Soon after I obtained my license in Florida, saw the big picture, and since then I haven’t looked back.
Early in 2011, I met my loving, beautiful wife Jaqueline who’s originally from Brazil. I couldn’t have gotten any luckier to find such an amazing person to share my experiences with and I’m extremely grateful everyday to have her in my life.
We have an amazing, three year old son, Aiden Joseph, who sometimes has more energy than both of us combined. He’s an absolute blessing and a bundle of joy that no matter the circumstances can always put a smile on our face. My wife and I are also dog lovers and currently have a bichon frise named Cindy and a miniature schnauzer named Rola. We love to travel the world often and experience other cultures to discover what other countries have to offer.
